      Jason Vargo, a former assistant scientist at GHI, and other researchers recently published an article in the Social Science & Medicine journal. The article discusses the use of invisibility to explore biases in the understanding of climate-health risks, among other ways invisibilities arise and hinder vulnerable populations.

      The UW System recently approved a notice of intent from a committee led by entomology professor and chair Susan Paskewitz’s that plans for a new global health bachelor of science major. Building off the success of the Global Health Certificate, the new major will allow students to dig deeper into this topic area.
