Financial Specialist

Under the supervision of the Global Health Institute (GHI) Administrative Director, the Financial Specialist will be responsible for completing financial transactions, financial management, budget oversight, and research program support, while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance with UW System policies and procedures. HOT-Wisconsin Program Coordinator

The Initiative for Health-Oriented Transportation (HOT) at UW-Madison’s Global Health Institute combines education, outreach and research to address the rapid rise of chronic diseases around the world due to sedentary lifestyles. HOT-Wisconsin has been developed to support a connected and informed network of colleagues interested in promoting and researching health-oriented transportation throughout Wisconsin.

The position will be supervised by a Co-Director of HOT-Wisconsin, report to the Director of Global Health Insitute (GHI) and cooperate directly with researchers, students, and other GHI staff. A full list of the primary tasks can be found here.
