The Global Health Institute will be represented at the Study Abroad Fair 2014 from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17 in Varsity Hall in Union South.
The fair is an opportunity to learn more about the wide array of academic experiences abroad, including global health field courses, abroad that are available to students at UW-Madison, which is ranked sixth in the nation in overall study abroad participation.
These experiences complement and enhance students’ academic careers and are a doorstep to the world for UW-Madison students. With more than 200 programs on six continents, students of all majors, whether first-year, sophomore, junior or senior and even graduate and professional students, have access to fantastic study abroad opportunities.
The fair features representation from study and internship abroad offices and related offices across campus, plus program representatives, UW faculty and returning and exchange students, as well as special sessions on “Study Abroad 101 – covering the basics” and “Funding Study Abroad.”
