Adelaide M. Davis joined the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) as an immunization and community health specialist in 2021, including a 14-month secondment to the COVID-19 Vaccine Delivery Partnership (CoVDP), an inter-agency partnership that worked to accelerate COVID-19 vaccination coverage in countries with the lowest vaccination rates and close the vaccine equity gap between high- and low-income countries. She currently provides technical and programmatic support to National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies implementing routine immunization projects in countries like Mali, Lebanon, Afghanistan and the Occupied Palestinian Territory (oPT). She additionally was elected in 2024 to the Steering Committee of the Gavi Civil Society Organization (CSO) Constituency.

Prior to joining IFRC, she worked for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Chad and South Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). She was educated in the social sciences and public health on four continents – the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Cape Town (South Africa), Sciences Po (France), and the University of Melbourne (Australia) – and has made Geneva, Switzerland her home base since 2018. In her free time she enjoys competitive sailing, hiking, skiing and cooking. She is fluent in French.

In October 2024, she was awarded the Forward Award by the Wisconsin Alumni Association, given to young alumni within 15 years of graduation who have demonstrated exceptional early-career achievement and a positive impact on their professions or communities.
