Interested in learning about how to improve the health of people, non-human animals, and the environment without necessarily practicing medicine? Want to travel abroad (or explore a community in the US in a new and different way), but can’t spend a whole semester or summer doing it?
If so, UW’s Certificate in Global Health invites you to its 2015 Global Health Field Course Fair. The fair will be held Wed., Nov. 18, from 5-7 pm in Union South, room TITU. There will be tasty snacks.The main point of the fair is to showcase nearly 20 short, small-group field courses we will be running next year. Some of the field courses require that you have taken at least one of the certificate’s core courses, but others do not.
This event invites all undergrads to explore field course options for the global health certificate. Students will have the chance to meet and talk with leaders and student alums of many of the field courses.
