In December, the United Nations 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) met in Paris, where nearly 200 nations ratified a new universal climate change agreement with the goal of reducing global carbon emissions. For the first time since the Kyoto Protocol in 1997, the world came together to adopt a healthy, sustainable future.
Join us for the second discussion in our two-part series “Connecting Wisconsin and the U.N. Climate Talks” as we reconvene our panel of Wisconsin leaders from the December 3 event “Live from Paris.” Representing interests in public health, human rights, business, and government, these panelists will offer their valuable behind-the-scenes impressions and reflect on the outcomes of the conference.
