Saurabh Pappu is a a first year MBA candidate at the Wisconsin School of Business. He is from Visakhapatnam, a beautiful coastal city in South India and earned his mechanical engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology, India. As an automobile and motorsports aficionado, he started his career with four years as a global supply chain manager at at Maruti Suzuki (a subsidiary of Suzuki, Japan) and India’s largest car manufacturer. The business aspects of the supply chain led him to pursue an MBA and chart a course towards operations leadership roles in the future. He aspires to work post MBA in health care and technology sectors on high-impact projects that would touch many lives around the world and, hopefully, elevate them in the process. Working at GHI would be a small step towards understanding the health care sector and contributing to the UW-Madison community.
