New opportunities can be unexpected, and that’s when GHI leaders turn to the Global Health Fund to be able to act quickly for the best interests of public health in Wisconsin and the world.
Providing funds for the greatest need allows GHI to pursue issues more deeply, quickly bring needed collaborators to campus, or immediately lend support to a new initiative. The Global Health Fund allows GHI to help develop programs that foster long-term collaborations through critical domestic and international partnerships. These gifts allow institute to respond to crises, such as the Zika outbreak, when they happen.
