These policies were established to support high quality, safe international health activities for UW Medical School and UWHC faculty, staff, students and foreign visitors. These activities include teaching, consulting, research, public service, and education programs abroad.
Representatives of the UW-Madison Schools of Medicine and Public Health, Nursing, Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine; UW Legal Services; UW Risk Management; UW Office of International Studies and Programs, and UW Hospitals and Clinics were involved in the development of these policies, which adhere to UW System Guidelines for the Conduct of Study Abroad Programs. You are expected to review these guidelines prior to your work or study abroad.
