S. Asra Husain, a policy and legal analyst with the UW Pain and Policy Studies Group, presents a noon lecture in the Center for South Asia 2015 Spring Lecture Series. The International Pain Policy Fellowship identifies champions in low- and middle-income countries and offers a stipend and mentorship to those individuals to help them work on an in-country project to improve access to opioid medications. This talk discusses work in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. The lecture is co-sponsored by the Human Rights Program.
