The Center for Climatic Research in the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies hosts the UW-Madison Climate Change Symposium March 5 and 6 in the Genetics-Biotech Auditorium.
Steve Long, director of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation RIPE Project, presents keynote lectures at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 5, and 1:35 p.m. Friday, March 6. He is a world leader on the responses of agroecosystems to rising carbon dioxide levels and climate change. Several UW-Madison faculty and researchers will also present their work.
