UW-Madison attracts top talent and produces cutting-edge research. The Global Health Institute gives these men and women the chance to explore global health problems with colleagues from across the university through unexpected partnerships. These projects are often out-of-the-box proposals that have the potential to significantly change the world or to open doors to new lines of inquiry. This entrepreneurial research is vital to moving the university and global health forward and keeping the Wisconsin Idea alive. Successful projects open doors for funding from other, significant sources.
The call for Seed Grant proposals is an annual process. Based on funding, we award 4-6 grants of up to $50,000 a year.
