Join Partners in Health-Engage Madison for a TED style panel, a moderated discussion, and an advocacy fair on the intersection of Race and Health.

Five distinguished speakers will share their expertise on the topic, including: Dr. Patrick Remington, an expert in population health and local disparities; Dr. Edward Vargas, who investigates how socio-political, familial, and personal contexts make up Latino/a health; Beverly Hutcherson, a researcher interested in elucidating barriers to health faced by African American women; and Dr. Bret Benally Thompson and Dr. Christine Athmann, both of whom work with the local Native American populations.

Our panelists are local and have been asked to share stories of how their areas of expertise apply to the Greater Madison area. You might be surprised at the inequity happening in your own backyard.

Come, be informed and join the conversation.
